Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
You asked, we answered

We already have a leasing contract with another partner. How can we move to SwanIT DaaS Circular model?
You can always move to our DaaS Circular model. As your leasing contracts of devices are ending, you just start purchasing via our channels and gradually move your fleet to circular model. You only pay SwanIT for those devices that you have in our service. You can still move all your device data to our portal for overall visibility.
What happens after the initial financial period from bank, e.g. 3 years?
You don’t need to do anything. Devices will be owned and managed by SwanIT and you just keep using them as long as you need. We hope to see you using them if they work. You only pay the service fee and small management fee for the device. So, after 3 (or 4 years), your device investments will drop significantly.
How do you manage the circular economy?
First, we propose you buy devices that last long or are already used. After that, we provide a process for you to extend the lifecycle as long as possible. After the device is no longer usable, we make sure that the e-waste stays close to the place where the device was used, e.g. If device is used by company in Finland, recycling is done in Finland. We are keeping the ownership of the device because of the circular economy and emphasis on the e-waste collection.
How do I save money with this model?
After your initial rental period and financing from the bank, you only pay a small fee for managing the device in our system. Basically your 4th to 6th years are really cheap in terms of device investments. You can also rent used devices from us with flexible models so no need to buy expensive devices for all.
How do I know that the devices will last that long?
We have a device health, data-based SaaS solution called SavannaX. The data will tell you when to replace the devices. We highly recommend you check that. We also provide a warranty of 5 years to all devices we sell to our customers.
